The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed concerning the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area every day. The provider place designed for intervention encounters a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out sassa programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to help the servicing of all consumers and maximize access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
